Ty's Outboard was established February 2014 with a passion of repairing and servicing all major brand of outboard engines. While only a small shop located in Bean Station TN, we can handle all your outboard and boat repairs.
Born and raised in Morristown Tennessee, Ty Coldwell started his journey out of High School in 2000 and attended Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida. From there he attended several Evinrude, Mercury and Yamaha factory training classes. While working with other marine dealers and gathering experience along the way, the dream of working for himself came true.
We are excited to announce that we are a Full Line Tohatsu Engine Dealer! Tohatsu offers an outstanding line up of four stroke outboard motors from 250 horsepower to the small light weight 2.5 horsepower. Tohatsu is offering a 5 year warranty on all their outboard engines. We are also an Evinrude Outboard Warranty and Service repair facility. Although repairing engines is our specialty, we have a large selection of parts and maintenance items such as water pumps, filters, spark plugs, gaskets, carburetor kits and those hard to find OEM parts. We also carry XD100 and XD50 for Evinrude G1 or G2 Outboard engines along with high quality four stroke oils.
